Wild goat park
Our Wild Goat Park is a great place to start your adventures with the family, but also for close encounters with our friendly, ancient breed of goats. There’s plenty of access, with a car park and a number of road side pull-ins to make viewing our wild goats really easy. Picnic benches are also available, making our Wild Goat Park the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat while meeting and greeting our friendly goats as well as taking in the stunning views out across the rolling hills.
The car park is situated on the Queens Way in the heart of Galloway Forest Park. The car park is adjacent to the Wild Goat enclosure and the goats will come up to the fence to welcome you, especially if you have sandwiches, so watch out! However, they are on a strict diet, so despite their charm, please don’t share your picnic with them!
