Get away to Galloway and relax in one of our five fantastic self-catering properties.

Southfield House (sleeps 6): Luxuriate in our Georgian townhouse in the heart of historic Wigtown. Extra space, 100-foot walled garden with treehouse, wifi and recently refurbished rooms give you a real home from home for your holiday. Ground floor en-suite bedroom is perfect for those not wanting to go upstairs.

Orchard Cottage (sleeps 6): Our eco-friendly barn conversion in rolling countryside with sea views nearby with large open plan kitchen/dining/living area and two en-suite bedrooms with a third bedroom and master bathroom. Outdoor play facilities for children.

Keeper's Cottage (sleeps 7): Historic gamekeeper’s home with period features inside and wood burning fire in dining room. Private garden, with access to larger garden and children’s outdoor play equipment at Ravenstone. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom facilities.

Ravenstone Mains Cottage (sleeps 4) & Ravenstone Stables (sleeps 4): Two country cottages with large garden in a woodland setting and a pirate ship for swashbuckling adventures!

Situated at the heart of the Machars in between Wigtown and Whithorn we are perfectly placed to offer you a base to explore Scotland’s best kept secret.  Nearby there are sheltered sandy beaches and great days out for the kids, cycling options from quiet roads to the challenging 7stanes course, excellent fishing and golfing, the UK’s first Dark Sky Park - young or old there is something for everyone.

All the cottages have wood-burning stoves or log fires and are furnished to a high level of comfort.  In cases of rainy days they are also equipped with a selection of games and books.
